Problem: An overview was designed based on Instructional Design Best Practices. This design would be shown to students at the University of Washington in preparation for their portfolio assignment.

Solution: To create an introductory module that would list the top 3 best practices. It was determined that an Adobe Captivate example would be the best way to design and develop the students’ skills in learning the tool and in creating their first example for their portfolio. The example is implemented and evaluated in a final presentation at the end of the Assessment and Evaluation course.
