Storyboard Example

Problem: To teach brand new unlicensed drivers how to drive and get their learner’s permit and drivers’ license.

Solution: Using the ADDIE model, it was necessary to analyze (through needs assessment) what was needed to help these future drivers to learn the essentials so that they could become successful drivers. One objective was selected and then one slide include a brief lecture and the subsequent slide included a brief quiz based on the previous slide. Design and Development was done in Microsoft PowerPoint. Implementation was done in the two-hour in-person driving sessions that students attended to prepare for on-the-road driving sessions. Evaluation was done at the end of the driver’s test based on the amount of students that passed the driver’s test and received a driver’s license.
